Glass Wool Replaced with Polyester Blanket

Glass-wool underfloor insulation, in our opinion, is unpredictable when it comes to how long it will last. On this house the batts had completely disintegrated in some area, and fallen out in others.
Even with attempts to strap them back up, they were not firm against the flooring and therefor not effectively insulating. Not to mention they had made the crawl space an itchy nightmare!
It was an itchy and grubby jobs removing all old glass wool, but very satisfying to install new Mammoth Underfloor Blanket insulation.
